The New Embroidery Group

I went to see an embroidery exhibition called “Threading our way: a retrospective”. I saw a hanging in the exhibition, which included a small square that I made with the group 10 years ago! I stitched the word “peace” in Arabic. I forget about it and it was a nice memory to remember!

October Gallery

Yesterday I went to October Gallery for a talk by Iraqi master artist-calligrapher, Hassan Massaudy. It was in conjunction with the exhibition “Breath, Gesture and Light”. He talked about his work and creative process.

Royal Academy of Arts

I visited the Royal Academy of Arts Summer exhibition this week. It was so nice to see a variety of work from different artists. Here are some pictures from the exhibition.

Pictures from an art exhibition at the Brazilian embassy in London.

Pictures from a recent visit to Margate. While I was there I also saw a Turner contemporary exhibition called “Entangled: Threads & Making” and The Shell Grotto.

Excel show

Yesterday I went to the stitching sewing and hobby crafts show at Excel.

Knitting and Stitching Show

Last weekend I went to the Knitting and Stitching Show at Olympia, London. Here are some photos.

Also, I recently joined Instagram, if any readers are interested in following me on there.
