Second crochet dress

I just finished this crochet dress to my granddaughter. It was little big for her.

Pictures from a visit to the National Maritime Museum.

Stitching, Sewing and Hobbycrafts

Today I went to the Stitching, Sewing and Hobbycrafts show at the ExCel, London.

Beckenham Quilters

This weekend I went to Beckenham Quilters group exhibition. This was my first time to see their work.

Liberty panel

This is a quilt I made before. It was a printed panel from the Liberty store in London. I bought the fabric, added wadding, stitched it and finished without any instructions. I am happy with the result.

York

I recently I went to York city and saw the main attractions. This quiet city reminded me of my late father, as he came for two months training of English teaching at the University of York in the late seventies. It was so emotional to visit the university, especially the library and the languages and linguistics department. I also visited the Quilt Museum, which closed at the end of October.

Made London

Last week my friend Anne-Marie sent me a ticket to see a private view of the Made London design and craft fair. This was my first time to go to this place and I saw many designers there, from textile, ceramic, weavers, knitters, glass work, basketry, etc. In addition there were free drinks and a live band.
