I am glad I finished making this Linus quilt. The Quaggy quilting group that I am a member of donates these quilts to children in Lewisham Hospital. It’s the third time I have made a Linus quilt.
I just finished my second knitted fingerless gloves and I’m also working in the slow sewing Hexagon patchwork.
One of my hangings was on display at The Spring Knitting & Stitching Show. It takes place at Olympia, London and ends tomorrow.
This is my fourth year to take part in a group exhibition in Peckham. Here is my piece, which is a small hand quilted wall hanging called No Place Like Home.
This weekend I went to Beckenham Quilters group exhibition. This was my first time to see their work.
This is a quilt I made before. It was a printed panel from the Liberty store in London. I bought the fabric, added wadding, stitched it and finished without any instructions. I am happy with the result.
