Knitting and Stitching Show

Here are some pictures from when I visited the Knitting and Stitching Show at Alexandra Palace, London.

My daughter’s first quilt

My daughter wanted to make a quilt. She cut square pieces of fabric and started to join them together. For some reason, she cut some of them wrong and ended up with some squares and some rectangles. She gave it to me to mend it and make the whole piece into a square. I put wadding and backing to finish it. She felt happy when I gave it back to her.

National Theatre’s Oliver Exhibition

A few months ago I visited the National Theatre’s Oliver Exhibition space to see “Vanishing Act: The Art of Animal Camouflage” by the artist Lalla Ward.

Here is a picture of crochet bunting that I made.

I went to the theatre to see “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time”. I thought it was interesting and would recommend it.

Baby blanket

I made this crochet baby blanket.

Royal College of Physicians

I visited the Royal College of Physicians to see an exhibition called “The mirror of health: discovering medicine in the Golden Age of Islam”.
