Olympic quilt

Here is a picture of a quilt I made for the British Quilters’ Guild, which arranged a collection called A Gift of Quilts, which was presented to the Special Olympics in March 2012. I called my quilt “Door to the Future”.

100th post

This is my 100th post. I am so glad that I have a blog and enjoy it when people like it and/or comment. Here is a picture of a granny squares crochet throw. I am almost finished!

Open studio

I am glad I have the chance to visit my friend Anne-Marie’s open studio for the second time. This is some of her work and you can read about her in her blog

Seeing yellow

A selection of all sorts of yellow things!

I have been on holiday in Amsterdam. I enjoyed the museums and attractions including: Van Gogh Museum, Nemo Science Centre, Anne Frank House, Rijksmuseum (the national museum), the canals, Dam Square, a zoo, a botanical garden with butterflies, a purse and bags museum, Hermitage Museum (a branch from the Russian museum), Diamond Museum and the Amsterdam Museum. I also saw two quilting shops, old windmills, a flower market and flea market. Below are a few of the many photos I took.
